Christina Stravakas
CCC-SLP Speech Language Pathologist
Christina received two bachelor's degrees in Music and Psychology from the University of Rhode Island. After a brief career as a performing musician and strings teacher, she completed her Master of Science (MS) in Speech-Language Pathology with a specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Christina is an ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in MA working with young children, school-age children, adolescents, and young
adults. Her past clinical experiences include working in public schools, sub-separate special education programs, home-based settings, and clinic-based
settings.
Christina has extensive training in the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and is passionate about providing training to parents
and staff to empower students to communicate.
She is also passionate about using an executive functioning approach to therapy in order to address the unique underlying challenges impacting communication disorders. Christina has training in the Lindamood-Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing program as well as Michelle Garcia Winner ’s Social Thinking program.
